  • Anderson University’s Master of Ministry program – launched two years ago with the creation of the David T. Clamp Graduate School of Christian Ministry – will celebrate its first graduating class in December as 11 students receive diplomas. Among the first graduates will be South Carolina Baptist pastors, youth and music ministers, as well as lay leaders.

    “These were our pioneers,” asserts Michael Duduit, Dean of the College of Christian Studies. “They started a brand new program and through their commitment and efforts helped establish AU as a premier place for ministry education in our region.”

  • Dr. Channing Crisler joined the College of Christian Studies faculty this past August as the Director of the Doctor of Ministry in  Biblical Preaching program as well as an Assistant Professor of Christian Studies.

    A native of Lubbock, TX, Dr. Crisler holds a BS in History from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. He received his Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX, and his Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.

  • MinistryU.org is a minister’s treasure trove of practical advice. Michael Duduit, Dean of Anderson University’s College of Christian Studies, says "Our goal in developing MinistryU.org is to provide a resource for pastors and church leaders that will offer practical and helpful insights for today's ministry leaders."

    The contributors for the site consist of Anderson CCS faculty, strategic faculty and the occasional guest contributor."The College of Christian Studies has assembled a faculty with top academic credentials but also decades of practical ministry experience in the local church. We believe that combination will make MinistryU.org a particularly valuable resource for those who are on the front lines of service in the local church," says Duduit.

  • Now That You’ve Been Called to Ministry is the title of a new book written by members of the Christian Studies faculty at Anderson University.

    The book is designed as a resource for persons who have sensed God’s call to vocational ministry and seek guidance about their next steps and is available by request to any individual or church.

    “We work with both young and older students who have sensed God’s call, and want to know what they should do next,” said Dr. Michael Duduit, Dean of AU’s College of Christian Studies and one of the contributors to the new volume. “We couldn’t find many quality resources on that topic, so as a team we developed a book that we hope will be helpful to many who have sensed God’s call.”
